Ima’s Home
for Children
Rodney and Ericka Greene first visited Ima’s Home for Children more than seven years ago, and the experience profoundly changed their lives. There, they witnessed firsthand the transforming power of God’s love in the lives of children who had endured tremendous loss, abandonment, and abuse. What they encountered was more than a children’s home—it was a place of healing, restoration, hope, and purpose.
Through the unwavering love, structure, and spiritual foundation provided at Ima’s Home, they saw children once marked by pain begin to walk in joy, identity, and promise. They witnessed how the love of Christ not only changes individual lives, but has the power to impact families, communities, nations, and ultimately the world.
As a Board Member of Ima’s Home, Ericka Greene remains committed to supporting the mission and vision of the ministry through prayer, advocacy, and resources, helping ensure that Ima’s Home continues to be a refuge and haven for God’s children.

Star of Hope Outreach Ministry Book
Rodney and Ericka Greene serve as Missions Pastors at Life Church at Cornerstone Chapel, located on the campus of Star of Hope in Houston, Texas. Star of Hope serves individuals and families experiencing homelessness, including single mothers, children, and the elderly, by providing shelter, transitional support, education, counseling, and pathways toward restoration and stability.
At Cornerstone Chapel, Rodney and Ericka are committed to serving the community through weekly worship services, Bible studies, prayer, discipleship, and outreach events designed to bring hope, healing, encouragement, and the love of Jesus Christ to those facing difficult seasons of life. Their passion is not only to meet spiritual needs, but also to create a place where individuals and families feel seen, valued, supported, and reminded of their God-given identity and purpose.
Through this outreach ministry, they seek to walk alongside the residents and surrounding community with compassion, faith, and practical support, believing that lives are transformed through the presence and love of God.
